Lip syncing task
To film our 'Lip-sync Prelim' task we started by thinking about the song we wanted to record, which needed to be an upbeat song whilst maintaining synchronicity throughout. We decided on Lethal Bizzle's Fester Skank . This song is recent enough for people to know the song's lyrics and tune which allowed the recording process to run much smoother, with less takes for mistaking the words. Due to having an upbeat song this provided our peers, who we chose to feature in our video, the chance to dance and portray that they are enjoying themselves and having a good time, which was one of our original objectives for this piece.
To record our Prelim we used an iPhone 6 this allowed us a free range of movement to capture everyone and to emphasise the excitement of the song
From this we can see how important it is to have a narrative otherwise the audience become bored and detached. Furthermore, the lip syncing needs to be perfect otherwise it makes the video look poor and as if its been made by rookies
To conclude, we have learnt from the lip synch task that we will include a narrative in our music video and that the lip synching is on point
