Buying props and costumes

These props and costumes really emphasise what we are trying to get across to viewers watching our opening sequence. The difference between the props and costumes will be demonstrated through the binary opposition in our sequence where the pink jumper, duck tape and rope will be used for the girl to insinuate her innocence and vulnerability. Whereas, the chair, tools and black coat etc will be used for the villain to orchestrate his violence, authority and power. The torture is similar to the one in reservoir dogs although in that film there's a man sitting on the chair; in our opening sequence there will be a blonde girl. The wooden chair gives an eerie atmosphere and represents death and danger. The villain is wearing all black like various villains such as Voldermort from Harry Potter and Snake from LOTR these villains have connotations of death and horror which we are aiming to orchestrate through our villain.
