In this case, Sarah is a prime example of my target audience as she is a young girl within the age range of 16-21. Sarah will be able to empathise with Lucy as they come from a similar background of childhood abuse and a passion for music as a way of escaping the pain of reality. Similarly, teenagers nowadays are more exposed to the adult dangers, and the boundaries between adulthood and childhood are deteriorating, meaning 'childhood' of the teenage years is one that they want to escape, trying to act like adults by smoking and drinking alcohol - both of which is illegal. So they share similarities in terms of the narrative, but more importantly on the music-front they both share a great enjoyment for the genre indie/pop, which Lucy's album 'Stay High' majorly consists of.
