This album cover from Daft Punk, for their Album Discovery, is very similar to ours in various ways. For instance the group are faceless artist and this continues in their album cover. They have not revealed their identity connoting the fact that they makes sells on their music and not their star image. This relates to our artist who keeps their identity hidden however, is not afraid to describe in very vivid imagery their lifestyle choices. Furthermore our artist creates indie dance music that has minimal singing in it. This is shown through the masks covering their faces as it is obvious they would not be able to project their voice through them. This album cover also leave a lot to the imagination as it is very plain and simple, something that will be reflected on our album cover as we are not selling the artist we are selling the actual record itself.
Another album cover that relates massively to are artist and what we want to re create is the band Air and their album 'Moon Safari.' This is because it has bright colours promoting their genre and tone of music whilst still not having real life pictures of them selves. This is something we want to re create as it shows a lighter tone of dance music whilst still having colours that connote a deeper and more serious message for example purple and red.
