Our Narrative Of Our Music Video

The music video will be based on the life of a depressed person. We’re charting the person through 24 hours of his normal day to day life as he goes around town drinking, smoking and causing chaos. The music video will highlight how all he does is party, were showing this by him always drunk and touring the streets of London. Furthermore, he is also very lazy and careless about his life this is demonstrated through his lack of friends and being isolated throughout the music video. 

The person in the music video has a mental illness where it is a challenge for him to face day-to-day life. The person does not help himself and seek aid but instead uses anger to express his emotions this shown through his actions of smashing bottles and general inattentive attitude. Moreover, this narrative features some intertextual references for example ‘half nelson’ this is a film based on a drug addict who lives a double life and is clinically depressed this narrative is very similar to ours and thus will also give us inspiration. Our music video hopes to showcase the struggle that the main actor is facing in a way which intrigues that audience and also allows them to relate to our narrative on the basis that people do face life like this and its not easy.
