First Digipak and Feedback

Below exhibits my first attempt at creating a digipak as part of our Music Video project, in Media Studies. The image of the below displays the front cover of our original digipak

The front cover combines imagery of our artist Lucy, we put a pink filter over her to demonstrate her abstract and indie genre . Our aim was to make this album cover edgy and to also exaggerate her originality. The text and font on the front cover was specifically designed to display our artists name bigger than the  actual album name, Stay High, to portray our artist as an individual also presenting her as more important than the title. This allows her name to stand out to fans/audiences thus they will be able to easily recognise its her work. The title is small and doesn't stand out  hence it has little purpose, making the image of our artist stand out. The close up of her as well highlights how its all about her and how she wants to be recognised by the audience.

The colours used in this back album cover grabs the viewers attention as the bright pink was used , making it stand out. The abstract colours used here portrays here indie music and her rebellion the the world. The font is classic and red thus another bright colour for the audience. Although this was a creative design there was too much going on and confusing for the audience, thus changes were made
